Yuuko was once again being her usual self: goofy, clingy and jealous. Teiichi, however, felt something wrong with Yuuko. Kirie explained to Teiichi that the ominous shadow was more likely a split personality of Yuuko, full of negative emotions. Teiichi also figured out with Yuuko that she volunteered to be a human sacrifice in order to stop an epidemic. At the end of the episode Yuuko's evil shadow appeared and confirmed that she carries all Yuuko's grudges and memories. Things went back to square one as the shadow caused Yuuko's few recovered memories to disappear.
Episode 7 of Dusk Maiden of Amnesia has to be the best so far. The idea of the split personality makes a lot of sense and is very interesting. I like the direction the series has taken, but I feel that the whole truth has not come up yet. Just when I was wondering if Dusk Maiden of Amnesia was going to have multiple seasons, the revelations of episode 7 appear to confirm that the story will end with episode 12. This episode gets a 10 out of 10.
