Synopsis
Taichi confessed to his club mates that another Heartseed had spoken to him.  As a result their time shifts became very random.  Iori was worried and wanted to go home to confront her mom's second husband, who had returned home.  However, her club mates convinced her to let them help her.  The original Heartseed appeared and offered Iori the opportunity to return her in time to fix past mistakes.  She refused because she accepted herself and realized that her personality was shaped by her past good and bad deeds.

Analysis
The Kako Random arc ended with a strong and satisfying episode 13.  There is not much to analyze.  Kokoro Connect continues to be an immersive, emotional and well animated series.  Every once in a while it takes sudden turns, but they are welcome.  I hope the next arc is interesting, and that the series concludes with some kind of closure.  This episode gets a 9 out of 10.

Synopsis
Yui again ran into Chinatsu Mihashi, an acquaintance from her karate days.  Chinatsu wanted to remind her of a promise they once made to fight at nationals.  She also begrudged Yui for giving up karate and becoming a weak person.  Aoki continued being unable to clearly know if he loved Yui for her or because she reminds him of Nana Nishino, a former girlfriend of Aoki's.  After Aoki sorted out his feelings and reaffirmed her love for Yui, she realized that she needs to become strong again.

Analysis
Episode 12 of Kokoro Connect was emotionally heavy but kind of disjointed.  We finally learned more about Aoki.  He had been probably the least fleshed out character up to this point.  It is sad that Yui lost some of her conviction to live probably as a result of her attempted rape.  This episode had very good moments but nothing overly dramatic.  But the last episode of the Kako Random arc promises a whole lot of hell breaking.  Episode 12 of Kokoro Connect gets a 9 out of 10.

Synopsis
The episode began with Taichi and Inaba at a shrine, with younger versions of Iori, Yui and Aoki.  The supernatural development for the new arc, Kako Random, is that between 12 pm and 5 pm everyday, Inaba, Iori, Yui and/or Aoki will revert back to younger versions of themselves.  Taichi has been spared most likely because a different Heartseed (Number Two) has informed Taichi that he has an important mission.  So far this phenomenon has hit Yui and Aoki the hardest.

Analysis
Episode 11 of Kokoro Connect was great.  I really like the new arc, and the new developments that might come with it.  It looks like we are going to learn a lot from Inaba, Iori, Yui and Aoki.  I am also very intrigued by this Number Two character and what his intentions might be.  I continue to look forward to new episodes of Kokoro Connect every Saturday.  This episode gets a 10 out of 10.

Synopsis
The school trip began with a clingy Iori toward Taichi and a calm but tense Inaba watching them.  When Taichi noticed a small cut on Inaba's hand, he tried to watch it to prevent infection.  Inaba refused and ran away.  Iori caught up to her a saw her gently kiss the injured finger that Taichi tried to tend to.  Iori figured out that Inaba was also in love with Taichi.  After an intense and emotional discussion, Iori convinced Inaba to fight for Taichi's love and assured her that they were going to remain friends no matter what.

Analysis
I liked episode 10 of Kokoro Connect a lot.  This episode concludes the Kizu Random arc, and I am so glad it did not involve anyone being in the brink of death.  Inaba has finally been able to act like a typical, normal person.  I still like Inaba's stoic personality, but I also want her to enjoy her life to the fullest.  For now Kokoro Connect continues to be a strong series with an interesting story and appealing characters.  I have faith that Kokoro Connect will remain strong.  This episode gets a 10 out of 10.

Synopsis
Taichi and Iori agreed that all the members of the club would be better if they were together.  Also, Taichi and Aoki made up.  Finally, Taichi and Aoki convinced Yui, using weird logic (like Aoki proposing Yui to go to a love hotel), to return to school.  Taichi, Iori, Aoki and Yui seemed to have made their peace in dealing with their current situation, but Inaba has not.  This prompted a Heartseed's home visit to Inaba.  Heartseed challenged Inaba by questioning her true intentions with Taichi, and how this might affect her other friends.

Analysis
Episode 9 of Kokoro Connect was very solid.  It also had lots of information and has beautifully set up the conclusion of the second arc (Kizu Random).  It is good that Taichi, Iori, Aoki and Yui seem to finally have learned to deal with their desires.  Unfortunately for Inaba, she continues to suffer for not being able to be honest with herself and Taichi.  Kokoro Connect continues to be a strong series and has become my favorite show of the Summer 2012 season.  This episode gets a 9 out of 10.

Synopsis
With Yui secluded at home and Inaba distant, the rest of the members of the Cultural Research Club met to discuss how to help Kiriyama.  Things ended badly with Taichi and Aoki having a heated discussion, and the former hitting a moderating Iori.  To further complicate matters, Fujishima put Taichi, Iori and Inaba in the same group for a field trip.  At the end of the episode Taichi seemed to have gained some confidence and valor after a brief talk with the upbeat Fujishima.

Analysis
Episode 8 of Kokoro Connect was very tense.  It is sad and frustrating to see the protagonists so indifferent to each other.  However, I think that it is probably the right decision for the protagonists to be apart for a while.  I cannot wait to see how the rest of the current story arc unfolds.  This episode gets a 10 out of 10.

Synopsis
The members of the Cultural Research Club continued to cope with their new circumstances.  Yui has been hit the hardest because she is unable to get out of her room.  When her club mates went to visit her home, Inaba confronted her (possibly during an unleash of desires episode).  Inaba wisely told Yui to not hide because Heartseed was going to always find a way to make things more entertaining and possibly dangerous.  The next day Taichi and Inaba had a heated exchange because the latter refused to visit Yui.

Analysis
As expected, the drama continued.  It is interesting that the new conditions have apparently caused the protagonists to be showing and saying what they really think about each other, rather than putting themselves in physical danger.  I kind of like this direction.  I hope the protagonists continue to reveal their emotions to each other but stay friends after this phase ends.  Episode 7 of Kokoro Connect was solid, but not much happened.  This episode gets a 8 out of 10.

Synopsis
Just when Inaba, Taichi, Iori, Yui and Aoki thought that things have reverted back to normal, a new development began.  Inaba tried to seduce Taichi in the clubroom, and Yui and Aoki were arrested for fighting in the street.  This is a new scheme from Heartseed, who decided to make the protagonists unleash their hidden desires.  Inaba showed confidence to the others but is actually terrified.  On the other hand, Iori sees this new development as an opportunity to find/discover her true self.

Analysis
Episode 6 of Kokoro Connect was very intriguing and exciting.  The new scheme from Heartseed is bound to be interesting but potentially devastating for the main characters.  Inaba continues to become the most appealing character as the series progresses.  This episode was strong, but I can only give it a 9 out of 10 because I feel that the new direction of the series has not been clearly defined.

Synopsis
After Taichi managed to calm down Iori after a crisis she had, Taichi confessed his love to Iori.  Unexpectedly, Heartseed (the culprit behind the body swapping) took over Iori's body a threw her self from a bridge.  At the hospital Heartseed (inside Goto's body) offered a chance to save Iori's soul/spirit by swiching bodies (which the guys refused to do).  After making their peace with Iori (through body swapping), Taichi, Inaba, Yui and Aoki were ready for the worst.  Fortunately for them, Iori survived.  Heartseed claimed it was a test and never intended to hurt anyone.

Analysis
Episode 5 of Kokoro Connect was amazing.  Few episodes are able to convey such powerful emotions of despair.  The guys seem to have learned a powerful lesson.  Body swapping has apparently ended, but I have my doubts about it.  Kokoro Connect continues to be a very good and enjoyable series.  Also, my favorite character, Inaba, shone again.  At the hospital Iori (inside Inaba's body) and Taichi kissed.  Afterwards and after learning this, Inaba promised payback to Taichi.  This episode gets a 10 out of 10.

Synopsis
After learning about Yui's trauma, Iori and Tachi took Inaba home.  Once in her house, Inaba told Iori to confess her trauma to Taichi (Iori frowned upon this because it was supposed to be a secret).  Iori told Taichi that she had been forced to change personalities to fit the attitudes of the five husbands her mother has had.  Iori is afraid because she does not know what her real personality is.  Taichi assured her that things will be fine, and that he will never forget who the real Iori is.

In the second half of the episode, Inaba told Taichi that she was not doing well.  Inaba is uneasy about swapping bodies because she does not trust people by nature.  Taichi told her that this is not a problem, and that she should share this with the other members of the club.  Taichi also told Inaba that he also had a terrible secret: he had masturbated to her and Iori and Yui as well.  The other guys showed Inaba that she should not worry about her issue.  Finally, Inaba told Taichi that she also had masturbated to him.

Analysis
Episode 4 of Kokoro Connect was a great experience.  I was glad to learn that Taichi seems to be in love with Iori, and the feeling appears to be mutual.  Sadly, Taichi seems to be unable to express this love, in part due to Inaba's branding of him as a "selfless freak."  We also learned more of the personality of the mysterious and cool Inaba.  I do not want this to happen, but all the girls appear to be falling in love with Taichi.  This is the best episode of Kokoro Connect so far; it gets a 10 out of 10.
